Kuala Lumpur, 2nd July 2009 – Visitors and delegates to the TiE Asia Pacific Conference 2009 didn’t have to leave their email, twitter and Internet access behind as Streetspace Web Stations appeared at the show floor of the TiE Asia Pacific Conference 2009
The three day TiE Conference was launched on 2nd July at Crown Plaza Mutiara with the theme Global Partnerships – for Success in Trying Times. The Conference’s packed agenda with keynote speeches, networking sessions and parallels sessions, provided all the more reasons for delegates stretched for time to quickly check their emails at the Web Stations. The Web Stations’ attracted a lot of attention and were constantly in use. Many delegates were seen checking their emails or getting the latest news updates from their favourite news sites at the Web Station which were deployed at the conference to provide internet access.
All three Webs Stations stationed at the show floor of the TiE Conference Exhibition were hooked up via the hotel’s WiFi connection with good uplink and downlink speeds. Many delegates enjoyed excellent broadband coverage as they surfed the Web Stations to check the Conference programme, get updates and sign up for the networking business sessions. The Web Stations showcased the official conference website at http://www.tiemalaysia.org as the default page to enable delegates to check out the programme and get conference updates.

The TIE Conference 2009 was organized by the Malaysian Chapter of the TiE Group, a global organization dedicated to advancing entrepreneurship. The three-day conference presented many keynote speakers such as Egidio Zarrella, Global Partner in Charge – IT Advisory of KPMG, Ian Halsall, Chairman of Lloyd West, Krishna Kumar, President and Country Manager of Ericsson, Suresh Thiru,.
