EWL Launches Next Generation 3G Wireless Enterprise Router and Wireless Automation Products

Super exciting day@the Lab for all of us at Embedded Wireless Labs today as we launched not one but two next-generation wireless products, the enterprise level Gryphon 3G Wireless Router & Zilant Automation and Security Gateway.  

Embedded Wireless Labs Chairman Dato Dr Salim Cassim was present to launch our next generation wireless products together with EWL Directors Ken Margon, Tom Mathai and Senior Vice President GU Renukanand. Renukanand had started the ball rolling earlier with a neat presentation on the development efforts in the lab and the technological innovation that went into building both products.

So boot up those mobile worktops and share work files at peak data downlink speeds of 7.2MBps and uplink speeds of up to 2.0MBps! The ready-to-go enterprise level Gryphon 3G Wireless Router allows users to effortlessly set up a secure wireless network to share broadband Internet connectivity in offices or homes.Just plug it in, power it up, and you’ve got your own wireless hotspot.  Enjoy interface support for 3G, WiFi WAN. LAN, USB and remarkably for its range, carrier grade VoIP calls.

Embedded Wireless Labs also launched the Zilant Automation and Security Gateway to deliver smart automation to homes and offices.  Zilant’s intelligent technology uses ZigBee, a IEEE802.15.4-2006 wireless standard to connect various device sensors in a home or office network such as lights, windows, air conditioners, switches and power outlets for various electrical appliances. Just flip out your tablet or smart phone to conveniently manage your home or office from your smart phone or any web-enabled device using Zilant’s TR-069 remote management.

EWL has made its 3G Router units availble in a whole range of funky colours. Just because we can!  And who says you can’t have your cake and eat it? Cause in no time at all, EWL received its first sales order for purchase of our enterprise grade Gryphon 3G Wireless Router from New Zealand.

The Gryphon 3G Wireless Router has been undergoing extensive fields trials with a prospective customer in New Zealand since early this year and they liked what they saw.  Especially the all Black units!

EWL expect to ship these out in just over  three weeks!
